Over the Idul Fitri break rugby development officer, Sam Refshauge, went to the mountains to begin the regional development drive.
Over 2 days Sam ran a foundation rugby coaching course in Bandung, which aimed at teaching the players the basic’s of coaching rugby, focussing on the safety aspects in contact situations.
But it doesn’t stop there. Over the next 3 weeks Sam will be visiting Sumbawa, Bali and Matano to work with their development teams.

Congratulations to the ISCI rugby club for hosting a great afternoon of rugby 7’s in Jakarta, followed by a much deserved post-tournament party.
The sun was shining all afternoon as the players embraced the heat on the rugby field…
Players competed in teams based on their country of origin which ensured that the talent was spread fairly accross the competition.
